The SVS 2012 event comes to a conclusion today, and It's been such a rich for me. Of doing theology with church family, exploring the future of our learning and the intersections with church planting within our desires for the Kingdom of God.
One highlight from the event is the talk by MaryKate Morse on 'Renewing the Mind for the Sake of the Church: Essential Spiritual Disciplines'.
MaryKate was my D.Min supervisor and I'm so glad she accepted the invite to be with us. Her talk on the nature of reason and faith, and spiritual disciplines that nurture being engaged in both, was stunning. A standing ovation from all the delegates showed how deeply she had helped us.
So when the talks go online, make sure you catch this one from MaryKate. I'll post details here when they get online.
